One test : chi square test of independence, this will tests whether there is an association between gender and survival. The hypothesis under this test is:

H0: Survival of the passengers is independent of gender

H1: Survival of the passengers is dependent on gender.

Another test: G test(likelihood ratio test)

It is another tests used in place of the chi square test. The hypothesis is,

H0: observed frequencies are from random sampling from a distribution with the given expected frequencies

H1: Observed frequencies are not from the given sampling distribution.
