Which of the following numbers could be the probability of an? event?

0?, ?0.46?, 0.38?, 1.13?, 1?, 0.07

Homework Answers

Answer #1

we know that probability of an event can be any number between 0 and 1 , i.e. probability can be 0 or any other number upto 1(this includes 1)

so, possible correct options are 0, 0.38, 1 and 0.07

These 4 options can be probability of an event where as option -0.46 and 1.13 can never be probability of an event because we never have probability less than 0 and more than 1

So, only four answers are possible, i.e. 0, 0.38, 1 and 0.07

If your question is asking for "select all that apply" then select these four options as correct answer because all these 4 options are correct and there is not a single correct answer

Parts a-c test your understanding of these approaches. Out of the last 400 days in Portland, it rained 40 days. Hence, the probability of rain in any given day is 0.1. The approach used to derive at probability is __________________________________. The probability of drawing a spade in a deck of 52 cards is 0.25. The approach used to...
