Could the specification limit be = (equal) to the control limit? Yes_________: No____________ (Describe the condition quality outcome of the factory when this is true)

if No why?

Answer #1

The specification limits can be equal to the control limits.

In that case, the process capability ratio is equal to 1 ie. the six sigma band is the desirable quality outcome for the product characteristic in consideration.

Generally , in a practical scenario, this is not true since the specification limits are desired to be more than the control limits since it gives the process some room for error before the process goes completely out of control.

Quality during the situation where specification limit= control limit is supposed to be a desirable one when the process remains in statistical control.

If all 11 are not in perfect condition, then he holds the lot for a complete inspection. Find the probabilities that he will commit the error of a)Holding a lot for...

Question 1 What positive control reaction could you use to be sure that enough good quality DNA was obtained for a successful PCR reaction from your red or pink flower (the untransformed plant)? Note: a positive control gives a positive (not negative) result, so you need a reaction that will give you a PCR band when you use DNA from pink or red carnations. A positive control is important because, impurities in DNA preparations are common and can inhibit Taq...

Problem 1. Describe the typical life cycle for an instruction. Problem 2. Suppose ‘a’ and ‘b’ are two signed integers. We would like to see whether ‘a’ is greater or equal to ‘b’. To check for the signed greater or equal (GE) condition, we evaluate whether the negative flag N is equal to the overflow flag V. If they are equal, then the GE condition is true. Explain the reasons why this works.

Could someone answer these questions briefly? 1) Describe a competitive firms supply curve, and explain why it is upward sloping. Also, explain why a competitive firm faces a horizontal marginal revenue curve. 2) What are long-run economic profits equal to in a competitive market (be sure to explain why and to not just give a number)? Also, explain why in long-run equilibrium price in a competitive market is equal to the minimum of average total cost.
