If the slope of the fitted regression line is -0.91, then describe the relationship between two variables: Demand in number of units (y) and price in dollars (x). Provide one or two sentences and use the variable names properly

Answer #1

As the slope of regression line is -0.91 clearly indicate that the two variance Demand in number of units (y) and price in dollars (x) are highly negatively correlated.

mean if the price in dollars (x) will increase then the Demand in number of units (y) will decrease and if the price in dollars (x) will decrease then the Demand in number of units (y) will increase

Also, the one unit change price in dollars (x) will affect the Demand in number of units (y) roughly with 0.9 times negatively
