Provide an example of each of the levels of measurement:
1. Nominal: They are used as names/labels, for example hair color, gender, favorite food.
2. Ordinal: They are used to show significance. For example, a scale that says how happy are you ranging from “Upset to Very Happy”.
3. Interval: A scale where each value knows the order and the difference between each value. For example, the temperature, there is a measurable 10-degree difference between 50 and 60 degrees.
4. Ratio: They tell the exact value between things and have an absolute zero. An example of ratio would be height and weight.
