Observational study:

Observational study of the sample is just study the nature of the sample.it doesn't produce any affect on the nature of the sample before and after the observation..

Example:

Study the increasing the lungs cancer causes smoking among public in city.

Experimental study:

In experimental study we treat with the sample.the nature of the sample does not remain same before and after that study.

Example : researcher claims that the new drug reduces the cholesterol levels ,so she applies the drug to some patients and study the effect the drug .
