Inferential statistics can be used in Health Service research situation. As we know that there are two parts in Inferential Statistics. First one is that Estimation of parameter & the second one is that Testing of hypothesis. '

Explanations: Let us consider there are two types of treatment is available for the same disease A & B. A researcher wants to test this that which treatment is better than other. For this, he collects data of says n1 patients who are taking treatment A & n2 patients different from n1 who taking the treatment B. Thus, the researcher has now 2 different samples. To test this hypothesis, he can use t-test or z-test which depend upon sample size wheter less than 30 or more than 30.

To test a hypothesis of claiming the treatment A is better than treatment B is itself an Inferential hypothesis.
