average lifespan of 40 months and standard deviation 6 months.

(a) Find the probability that a given mouse will live less than 32 months. Draw the normal

distribution with the desired area shaded in.

(b) What percentage of mice in Brooklyn would you expect to have a lifespan between 37

and 49 months. Explain by drawing a distribution.

(c) If there are 88 mice living on a random block in Brooklyn. How many of these 88 would

you expect to still be alive by the age of 45 months?
