(b) Determine the p-value for Ho: μd = 0 and Ha: μd ≠ 0, with n = 22 and t = -1.81.


(c) Determine the p-value for Ho: μd = 0 and Ha: μd < 0, with n = 26 and t = -2.68.


(d) Determine the p-value for Ho: μd = 0.75 and Ha: μd > 0.75, with n = 13 and t = 3.54.

This is a one tailed test.

Using a t table,

df = 19 - 1

= 18

n = 22

t = -1.80

This is a one tailed test. Using a t table,

df = 26 - 1

= 25

TDIST(-1.81,25,1)

p = 0.006839

(C). Ho: μd = 0 and Ha: μd < 0

n = 26

t = -2.68

This is a one tailed test. Using a t table

df = 26 - 1

= 25

TDIST(-2.68,25,1)

p = 0.006419

(D).  Ho: μd = 0.75 and Ha: μd > 0.75

n = 13

t = 3.54

This is a one tailed test

Using a t table,

df = 13 - 1

= 12
