How do I solve this in an excel sheet?

model: 95+2500 (63) log TP - 9.2 (2.9) z/Ao

TP = 0.100

z/Ao = 6.28783

Homework Answers

Answer #1

step 1. we need to take is to calculate the log (TP) = log(0.100)

in excel LOG(C2,10), where C2 is the cell reference in excel, where i kept the value as 0.100

step 2. calculate the value 2500 (63) log TP = 2500*63*log(0.100) = -157500

Step 3. Calculate value 9.2 (2.9) z/Ao = 9.2*2.9*6.28783

So in the excel we can write in this way 95+2500*63*LOG(0.1,10)-9.2*2.9*6.28783 = -157573

OR we can put parenthesis to read the term separately

95 + (2500*63*LOG(0.1,10)) - (9.2*2.9*6.28783) = -157573

Note :- To find log (TP) in the arguments of the formula it will ask you the number and base, so here base will be 10.
