When the null hypothesis is rejected , we use Post hoc test

When there are more than 2 treatments ,

The advantage of Post hoc over ANOVA is that post hoc test tests for the significance of a pair of trratments that ANOVA can't do

ANOVA tests for the significant effect by all the treatments only.
