What is the probability that the sample proportion will be at least 5 percent more than the population proportion?

Given that,

p = 0.75

1 - p = 1 - 0.75 = 0.25

n = 168

= p = 0.75

=  [p( 1 - p ) / n] = [(0.75 * 0.25) / 168] = 0.0334

0.75 + 0.05 = 0.80

P( 0.80) = 1 - P( 0.80 )

= 1 - P(( - ) / (0.80 - 0.75) / 0.0334 )

= 1 - P(z 1.50)

Using z table

= 1 - 0.9332

= 0.0668
