Our data is dependent, i.e. samples are paired because the sample of 20 people is being tested on controlled factor "diet"

Hence,

a. I will use the paired t-test statistical stest to check the difference in the mean weight between the 3 controlled factors ( diets)

b. Factors/predictors in the model: Type of diet ( Atkins, Low Fat,and Kansas diets)

Factors is what you change in a controlled experiement, with every other factor controlled for (i.e. same)
