Homework Answers

Answer #1

variables that are included in the survey are age (in years), favorite sports, number of siblings, high school grade point average and the marital status of parents.

Number of siblings and high school grade point average are ratio level of measurement because these two variables have absolute zero values and those values are meaningful

Age is interval level of measurement because it has meaningful difference between ages or data values

favorite sports and marital status of parents are nominal level of measurement because these variables are non numerical and can not be arranged in orders.
