Homework Answers

Answer #1

The total ways obtained by the addition of the following and then multiply by 3

If we take only one flavor out of 5 flavors then the possible ways = 5C1 = 5

If we take only three flavors out of 5 flavors then the possible ways = 5C3 = 10

If we take only four flavors out of 5 flavors then the possible ways = 5C4 = 5

If we take all five flavors out of 5 flavors then the possible ways = 5C5= 1

After addition we get (5 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 1 ) = 31

Therefore total ways = 31 * 3 = 93
