A social psychologist is interested in whether warmer temperatures influence aggressive behavior. She had 60 people take part in an experiment in which she randomly split participants in two equal groups. In one group, the participants had to complete a frustrating cooperative puzzle together in a very warm room. In the second group, participants completed the same frustrating cooperative puzzle, but the room was much cooler. In both experiments the number of aggressive acts were counted. Data from the experiment is presented below:
