I need to create at least two visuals ("bar-plot, pie-chart, stem-and-leaf, box-plot, histogram, or anything else") for a statistics data set I collected but I can't decide what the best ways to represent my data would be. My trials are represented as individual pass/fail plots and arranged by company (all similar products), I have 4 companies,
company 1 has 282 trials and 9 failures,
company 2 has 120 trails and 11 failures,
company 3 has 62 trials and 8 failures,
and company 4 has 64 trials and 7 failures.
I want to do the work myself but need some direction on how to tackle this most effectively. Thank you!
As we have to compare the success- failure of 4 companies,;
First, we can calculate the proportion of failures and then draw a percentage bar diagram, to visualize the faliure ratio.
another graph we can draw is Line diagram using the same ratio of failure and no. of trials.
We can draw a histogram but we won't be able to compare the data of 4 companies using histogram.
If you have any doubts, or need more elaboration, let me know in the comment section. thank you.
