A) Suppose I want to test the independence of Gender and favourite colour. In this case, gender is categorised as male or female. Favourite colour is categorised as Black Or White.

B) null hypothesis, Gender and favorite colour are independent of each other. Vs alternative hypothesis, Gender and favourite colour are dependent on each other.

C) the contingency table for this test is given below.

D) in this case I observe that the data is not a paid nominal data. Hence, McNemar's test can not be applied hair as the data is not a matched pair of the subject.
