Analyze-----Compare Means >One Sample T-Test,
move the variable over to the “Test Variables:” box
Then below there is a box that says “Test Value.”put “0” in the “Test Value” and ok.
In the out put we get 95% confidence interval of the difference column, we get confidence interval for the required proportion. To get 95% confidence interval for percentage, multiply the intervals by 100.
This is not exact method to get confidence interval for proportion. We tricked SPSS to get this and so this is not completely accurate.
