The null and alternative hypotheses are,

H0 : p = 0.44

H1 : p ≠ 0.44

Test statistic is,

=> Test statistic is, z = -2.29

p-value = 2 * P(Z < -2.29) = 2 * 0.0110 = 0.0220

a) Since, p-value = 0.0220 < alpha = 0.10, we should reject the null hypothesis.

b) p-value = 0.0220
