Suppose that there are 2 red balls, 2 blue ball, and 1 white balls in an urn. A ball is drawn and its color is noted. After the ball is drawn, it is set aside and is replaced with a blue ball. Another ball is then drawn from the urn.

Find the probability the first ball drawn was red given that the second ball drawn was blue.

Suppose that there is a white urn containing three white balls and one red ball and there is a red urn containing two white balls and four red balls. An experiment consists of selecting at random a ball from the white urn and then (without replacing the first ball) selecting at random a ball from the urn having the color of the first ball. Find the probability that the second ball is red. -please state answer in fraction-

A bag contains 10 white, 12 blue, 13 red, 7 yellow, and 8 green wooded balls. A ball is selected from the bag, its color noted, then replaced. You then draw a second ball, note its color and then replace the ball. What is the probability of selecting 2 white balls? Round to the nearest ten-thousandth.

1. SAMPLING WITHOUT REPLACEMENT a. A bin contains 4 red balls and 8 blue balls. Several balls are drawn from the bin. What is the probability that the 6th ball and the 8th ball drawn are both red? b. 1. An experiment consists of drawing balls from an urn which contains 2 red balls, one white ball, and one blue ball. The balls are drawn, without replacement, until either a blue ball has been drawn or two different colors have been drawn. 9.84. Suppose an urn has b blue balls and r red balls. An experiment consists of picking a ball at random from the urn, note its color and then put it back into the urn and add one more ball of the same color to the urn. Suppose we repeat this experiment twice. What is the probability that we get a blue ball in the second attempt?
