Answer #1

Answer: Cluster Sampling.

Here a community college student interviews everyone in a statistics class to determine the percentage of students that own a car. In college there are different class, like statistics class, physics class, mathematics class etc. And with respect to types of students in class, these classes are mutually homogeneous yet internally heterogeneous. Therefore each class act like a cluster, and we are selecting a whole statistics class for survey. This is like choosing one cluster from all cluster for study. Therefore sampling technique use is a cluster sampling.
