critical value @ (df = 3 and \alpha = 0.01) = 0.959

Since, r = 0.8671 is between -0.959 and 0.959. Therefore, r is not significant

Since, we know that

critical value @ (df = 3 and \alpha = 0.1) = 0.805

Since, r = 0.8671 is greater than 0.805. Therefore, r is significant
