Answer #1

When do we decide to run an ANOVA (F test) rather than a t test?

T- test is used to compare the means of two independent sample/groups, whereas ANOVA is used to compare the means of more than two independent sample/groups.

Purpose of Both T- Test and ANOVA is same. Only when we can not calculate T- Test when independent variables are more than 2. Thus, independent variables are more than 2 then we decided to run an ANOVA(F test) rather than a T- test.
