Why would z-scores be desirable for comparing data sets with different units of measurement ?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

It is used to comparedifferent data sets with diff means and sd(standard deviations) It's a universal comparer for normal distribution in statistics.z score shows how far away a single data point is from the mean relatively. Lower z score means closer to the meanwhile higher means more far away...Hence .z-scores be desirable for comparing data sets with different units of measurement .....

Note-if there is any understanding problem regarding this please feel free to ask via comment box..thank you
