In an earlier study, it was found that the percentage of repeated customers was 27% for British, 23% for French, 40% for Germans and 32% for Italians. The tourist authorities would like to examine whether the findings of this new study are significantly different from the findings of the earlier study.

The respective percentages of repeated customers in the new study was 75% for British, 85% for French, 44% for German and 80% for Italians.

No sample size is provided for both surveys, just percentages. Chi Square is irrelevant in this case. Only percentages are compared.

i. State the null and the alternative Hypotheses in order to test if the findings of the current survey regarding the percentage of repeated visitors for each nationality are equal with the findings of the earlier study.

ii. Test each of the hypotheses at α = 5%.
