What would be the best statistical analysis/test to measure the prediction of one independent variable on two dependent variables? My IV is leadership behaviors while my DVs are the performance and productivity of workers. The research method is quantitative.

Answer #1

Multivariate regression used when we need to deal with one explanatory (independent) variable and at least two response (dependent) variables. The multivariate regression works differently as compared to multiple regression referred. The multivariate technique deals with several response variables, whereas in contrast, multiple regression deals with several explanatory variables.
Therefore, if IV is leadership behaviors and the DVs are the performance and productivity of workers, then in that case the best statistical analysis/test used to measure the prediction of one IV on two DVs is called multivariate regression.

A regression analysis is a statistical assessment of the association between two variables, one of which is dependent and the other, independent. The dependent variable is y and the independent variable is x. Regression analysis is used to find the relationships between these variables. Variables within a regression analysis can be negatively correlated or positively correlated. A situation in which one could model a regression analysis could be the association of hours studied and a grade on a test. The...

You have estimated the correlation between exposure to noise (independent variable) and hearing loss (dependent variable) among factory workers. Both exposure and outcome measures were collected as continuous variables. The statistical analysis showed a Pearson r of 0.4 and the correlation between the two variables was highly significant at p < 0.001. Question: Can one argue that the relationship between the investigated exposure and outcome is causal? why and How likely is the possibility that the results were a mere chance finding? Why?...

What causes the p-value to be the same in an independent sample t-test and as a one-way ANOVA? 1. Because ANOVA is a generalization of the independent sample t-test?
