Answer #1

Answer---->>

Here given that the A researcher interested in the relationship between one's satisfaction with pay (X)

And one's commitment to the organisation (Y)

The reasercher collect the data from 24 employees

And find that the correlation coefficient between the two variable r = 0.22

i.e. positive correlation between the one's satisfaction pay (X) and one's commitment to the organisation (Y).

Therefore by using Cohen's rule of thumb for effect size ,

Effect size is small in this case ( from correlation coefficient r )

Effect size = r2

= (0.22)2

Effect size = 0.0484
