Nonprobability sampling designs ought to be preferred to probability sampling designs in some cases.
Explain with an example.
Nonprobability sampling designs ought to be preferred to probability sampling designs in some cases like when the researcher wants to conduct a pilot survey or the population of interest is very small. For example, if a researcher wants to conduct a pilot survey to understand whether a new product will be preferred by people or not and secondly if a researcher wants to know the effect of a very rare disease on Blood Pressure then the researcher can only select patients who have symptoms of that disease, therefore, it is not possible to use probability sampling because the population of interest is very small.
