B) Interval scale is generally used for values having some fixed periodic term it doesn't focus on a single value .. it is used to denote frequency of interval but we have ranked data so not appropriate

C) Ratio scale is good for comparison it can be used for comparison purpose but ratio scale have a definite fixed zero which is not available in ranked data ..

D) ordinal scale denotes data on the basis of orfer it doesnt have fixed zero and can be used for comparison so it is an appropriate choice for ranked data
