k = number of groups

n = sample size of a group

N = Total sample size

We assume that sample size of all groups is the same i.e. N = nk

F(2, 21) is equivalent to F (k-1, N-k).

k-1 = 2

k =3

N - k = 21

N = 21 + k

=21 + 3

= 24

n = N / k

= 24 / 3

= 8

Thus k = 3, N =24 and n = 8
