While doing hypothesis testing we set significance level () in general 0.05

Then, we compute test statistic and based on test statistic value we obtain p value.

If the P-value is less than significance level () then we reject the null hypothesis.

However, if the P-value is greater than significance level () then we can not reject null hypothesis
