In order to diversify funds, the Samsung corporation has bought a large factory to manufacture Linux computers in the Silom district of Bangkok. Due to COVID-19, the factory must be sprayed at the beginning of the day to protect against the coronavirus. Two new disinfectants have just been marketed: Demo 1 and Demo 2. To test their effectiveness, some sections were selected and sprayed with Demo 1, and some others were sprayed with Demo 2. At the end of the week, 430 sections treated with Demo 1 were checked for traces of the coronavirus. Likewise, a sample of 390 sections sprayed with Demo 2 were checked. The results are:

Chemicals Number of sections Sprayed (sample size) Number of coronaviruses found
Demo 1 430 24
Demo 2 390 34

At the 0.05 significance level, can we conclude that there is a difference in the proportion of sections infested using Demo 1 as opposed to Demo 2? Hint: For the calculations, assume Demo 1 as the first sample.
