Answer #1

Answer)

Range = highest data point - lowest data point

Range = 212 - 37 = 175

To find variance and s.d, we need to first find mean

Mean = sum of the observations/number of observations.

Mean =(212 + 63...)/(12) = 82.4

Now we need to subtract mean from each and every observation and then we need to take the square of the results and finally we need to add them all.

(212 - 82.4)^2 + (63 - 82.4)^2... = 28566.9

Now we need to divide this by n-1 that is by 11 and take the square root.

S.d = √{28566.9/11} = 50.9607

Variance = s.d^2 = 2596.99
