The value of test statistic is: t = 2.4011

The p-value = 0.0173

Conclusion: The p-value of the t test is less than 0.05. Hence we reject null hypothesis at 5% level of significance and conclude that there is significant difference in mean age between mothers of a boy and mothers of a girl.
