A psychologist is interested in the effect of CBT in patients admitted to a psychiatric hospital for schizophrenia. Below, these data were collected from 8 patients. The scores are a sum of delusional thoughts before and after CBT; lower scores indicate that less delusional thoughts were reported. Using a 0.05 level of significance to test whether CBT was successful as a treatment.
