Statistics is the science of collect, summarize data and after collecting it we can do analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of the data.

it is of two types:

  • Descriptive Statistics: It describe and understand the features of a specific data set by giving short summaries about the sample and measures of the data eg: Mean, Median and Mode.
  • Inferential Statistics: In inferential statistics we take data from samples and make predictions about a population.
