Homework Answers

Answer #1

Product A :

Total people who were given product A = 50

and number of people who experienced relief =34

So percentage of people of experienced relief are

= (34) / (50) = 0.68

In percentage = 0.68*100 = 68%
percentage of people who didn't experienced relief are = 100 - 68 = 32%

Product B

Total people who were given product B = 100

& number of people who experienced relief are = 77

So percentage of people experienced relief are

= (77) / (100) = 0.77

In percentage = 0.77*100 = 77%
percentage of people who didn't experienced relief are = 100 - 77 = 23%

Product A performed worse in the study because 32% failed to get relief with this product, whereas only 23% failed to get relief with product B.
