How would I test the hypothesis that

H0 = Population mean

HA ≠ Population mean

= 82.51

=80.91.

=12.65724

n =  100

This is the two tailed test .

The null and alternative hypothesis is ,

H0 :    = 82.51

Ha :     82.51

Test statistic = z

= ( - ) / / n

= (80.91.-82.51) / 12.65724 / 100

= −1.26

Test statistic = z = −1.26

P(z < −1.26 ) =  0.1038

P-value =2 *0.1038 =0.2076
