Answer #1

Hi,

According to the question:

Correlation tells about the linear relationship between two variables while regression tells about the functional form of relationship between two variables in which one variable is a dependent variable while other variables are independent variables.

Consider a multiple linear regression model with 3 independent variables. Then, t test is used to test significance of individual regression of an independent variable while F test is used to test the significance of overall regression, considering all independent variables together.

Thanks!
