For measure of central tendency can use the measures as mean, median, mode ,etc.

Mean is defined as the sum of all the observations divided by total number of observations.

Median divide the arrange data-set (increasing or decreasing order) into two equal halves.

Mode is the most repeated observation in the data-set.

On the basis of data-set we can use appropriate measures of the central tendency.

For skewed (left or right) distribution we use median

for bell-shaped distribution we can use mean

and when the most repeatable value is an interest then we can use mode.
