A recent study on gender and home ownership found that 33.33% of the 30 never-married women and 12 of the 27 never-married men in the study owned their own home or were currently paying a mortgage on a home of their own. The data come from a SRS. Is this sufficient evidence that never-married women are less likely to own their own home than never- married men? Use alpha=.01.?
