Answer #1

Probability of taking 8 quizes and getting the following: 3 quizzes with 4 wrong, 2 quizzes with 3 wrong,1 quiz with 2 wrong, and 2 quizzes with 1 wrong is computed here as:

= Number of ways to select 3 out of 8 quizzes with 4 wrong * Number of ways to select 2 quizzes out of remaining 5 quizzes with 3 wrong * Number of ways to select 1 quiz from 3 quizzes with 2 wrong * Probability that those 3 selected have 4 wrong * Probability that those 2 quizzes are selected have 3 wrong each * Probability that the one selected has 2 wrong * Probability that that the last 2 quizzes have 1 wrong each

Therefore 0.0048 is the required probability here.
