An investor has two shares of A and two of B. Each one can
increase or decrease in value or remain unchanged. The experiment
consists of investing in the two actions and observing the change
(if any) in the value.
1. How many experimental results are possible?
2. How many of the results indicate an increase in the value of at
least one of the two actions?
I get the following answers, are they correct?
1. 3 ^ 4 = 81
2. 3 ^ 4 - 2 ^ 4 = 65
If it is incorrect, could you explain how the problem would be
done? :(
Please rate, If it is really helps you. Thank you.
