First quartile is the median of the first half part of the data .

First quartile = 24

Second quartile or Median is the middle most observations in the data when observations are

arranged in  increasing or decreasing order of their values.

Second quartile = 37

Third quartile is the median of the first half part of the data .

Third quartile = 48
