a) Power= 1 - beta= 1 - 0.20= 0.8

b) Beta = 0.20

c) 1 - alpha= 1 - 0.05= 0.95

power is 1- P[ accepting Ho / H1 is true] which is 1- Type 2 error(beta)

Beta is probablity of failing to reject null hypothesis or accepting Ho when in reality alternative that is H1 is true.

Alpha is the probablity when null hypothesis is true and we reject null hypothesis. Thus given null hypth false, the probablity of rejecting it will be 1- alpha
