In your opinion, what is the importance of the sampling distribution parameters? How, if any, are they related to the z score?

Answer #1

Sampling distribution parameters are called statistics. Statistics helps to give an idea or estimate about population parameters. One can guess about the population using sampling distributions.

Z-score is the number of standard deviations a value is from the mean. Z score is given as- Z = (X - μ) / σ where, X is the value of the element, μ is the population mean, and σ is the population standard deviation. X~N(μ,σ2). Z~N(0,1).
