For this week, I would like you to come up with one hypothesis that would require the use of a one-sample t-test, one hypothesis that would require a Related-samples t-test, and one hypothesis that would require an Independent samples t-test

Answer #1

I need to come up with hypothesis for a research proposal. The
topic is 'Muslim culture with breast cancer in the U.S.' I have to
come up with an original idea. It has to be something that nobody
researched before. And I'm stuck.
Can you help come up with a topic thats never been researched
and write a hypothesis?
Thank you!!!!!

come up with a topic and write out the null hypothesis and
alternative hypothesis. Would your test be two-sided or
one-sided?

Many discussion opportunities come up where you need to respond

Inventory Management
With effective resource planning, organizations can reduce
inventory and service costs, improve efficiencies, and establish
methods for continuous improvement. Depending upon the type of
resource, there is a different type of planning that must take
place. This can include material requirements planning (MRP),
capacity requirements planning...

For this week's discussion, come up with a word problem to test
a hypothesis of the means of two independent
populations. First, describe a word problem.
Then, state the null and alternative hypotheses.
Third, select the distribution, either the normal
distribution or t distribution, to be used for the test.
Finally, determine the rejection region or
regions.

Describe an experiment that would require use of one of the
three different t-tests (One Sample, Correlated Samples, or
Independent Groups), but don’t tell us which statistic you think
should be used. Then go into the discussion and look at another
student's t-test experiment, and tell us which of the three t-test
statistics would be appropriate to analyze his data.

For this week's discussion, come up with a word problem to test
a hypothesis. First, describe a word problem. Then, state the null
and alternative hypothesis. Third, select the distribution, either
the normal distribution or t distribution, to be used for the test.
Finally, state what test is conducted among the
following tests: a two-tailed, left-tailed or right-tailed
test?

For this discussion board, come up with an example of a
hypothesis test that could be conducted. State the null and
alternative hpothesis. Then state what it would mean to have a type
I vs. a type II error in the given situation. Explain which you
think is "worse" given the circumstances. An example is given below
using "the boy who cried wolf":
Null hypothesis: Wolf is not present
Alternative hypothesis: Wolf is present
Type I error: The boy cries...

Hello Everyone!
For this week’s discussion, I have chosen option 2. I would like
to investigate the proportion of women, aged 22-30 and whom are in
the U.S. Coast Guard who have families. A study conducted in 2012
reported that 39% of women aged 22-30 whom are active duty in the
U.S. Coast Guard have families.
Take a random sample of 150 and determined that 42 out of 150
women had families.
H0 = .39
H1> .39
Test this hypothesis...
