interupt the r for married and ideology is 0.209

does the correlation exist if the sig is 0.154?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

We know that,

rabsolute = 0.209

rcritical = 0.154

H0: = 0

H1: 0

Since rabsolute > rcritical

i.e. we can reject the null hypothesis and thus we can say that the correlation coefficient is significant (i.e. not equal to 0 and there exists a correlation between marriage and ideology).
