Explain your reasoning using the kurtosis values for why?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer:-

Kurtosis is a statistical measure that defines how heavily the tails of a distribution differ from the tails of a normal distribution. In other words, kurtosis identifies whether the tails of a given distribution contain extreme values. It is actually the measure of outliers present in the distribution . High kurtosis in a data set is an indicator that data has heavy tails or outliers. If there is a high kurtosis, then, we need to investigate why do we have so many outliers.
